By booking our services, you agree to the following policy.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
All bookings made with Tamia Events are considered confirmed only after:
• Agreement on the required services and equipment
• Confirmation of event date and venue
• Payment of the required deposit or full amount as agreed
Once a booking is confirmed, equipment is reserved specifically for your event.
CANCELLATION BY CLIENT
Clients may cancel a booking by contacting Tamia Events through phone, email, or written communication.
Cancellation terms:
• Cancellation made 7 days or more before the event date may qualify for a partial refund
• Cancellation made less than 7 days before the event date may result in loss of deposit
• Cancellation made within 24 hours of the event may not be eligible for any refund
• Same-day cancellation after delivery or setup has started will not qualify for refund
REFUND CONDITIONS
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
• Booking cancelled within the allowed cancellation period
• Equipment unavailable due to Tamia Events operational issues
• Service could not be delivered due to reasons caused directly by Tamia Events
Refunds will not be issued for:
• Change of mind after booking confirmation
• Event postponement by client without prior agreement
• Weather-related disruptions beyond our control
• Incorrect information provided by client
• Venue restrictions not disclosed at booking
• Delays caused by third parties or venue management
PARTIAL REFUNDS
Where applicable, partial refunds may be issued after deducting:
• Booking administration costs
• Transport preparation charges
• Labor and setup preparation costs
• Reserved equipment holding fees
The amount refunded will depend on the stage of preparation already completed.
NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSITS
Any deposit paid to secure equipment booking may be non-refundable because:
• Equipment is reserved exclusively for your event
• Scheduling and logistics arrangements begin immediately
• Business resources are allocated in advance
Tamia Events reserves the right to retain deposit payments where cancellation causes business loss.
EVENT DATE CHANGES
Clients requesting to change an event date must notify Tamia Events as early as possible.
Date change conditions:
• Changes are subject to equipment availability
• New date must be agreed by both parties
• Additional transport or operational charges may apply
• Last-minute date changes may be treated as cancellation
CANCELLATION BY TAMIA EVENTS
Tamia Events reserves the right to cancel a booking under certain circumstances, including:
• Unsafe event conditions
• Inaccessible venue
• Non-payment
• Fraudulent booking information
• Force majeure events (floods, fire, unrest, road closures, government restrictions)
Where Tamia Events cancels due to internal operational reasons, a reasonable refund or rescheduling option may be offered.
REFUND PROCESS
Approved refunds shall:
• Be processed within a reasonable period
• Be sent through the original payment method where possible
• Be subject to administrative verification
Clients may be required to provide:
• Booking reference
• Payment confirmation
• Identification details
NO LIABILITY FOR INDIRECT LOSSES
Tamia Events shall not be liable for:
• Event cancellation costs
• Venue losses
• Guest inconvenience
• Business losses
• Indirect or consequential damages arising from booking cancellation
